Cyprus Villages series – 2001-2003
This series of work was based on the architecture of the houses in the villages of Cyprus. The artist observed how the structure of the houses and streets dictated a way of life and framed cultural values. The work also extended to a series of drawings from the Green Line partition which divides the capital city of Nicosia and the Island of Cyprus.
