Miriam Mc Connon was born in Dublin, Ireland in 1977. She now lives and works in Cyprus.
She exhibits in both countries and internationally.
Her work is in state collections in Ireland and Cyprus.
Her current practice examines the domestic narrative of displaced persons following conflict, looking at the parallel between the refugee and the non refugee over the last five decades. Mc Connon works in installation, drawing and painting.
Miriam is represented in Ireland by the Olivier Cornet Gallery ‘ and in Cyprus by the Diatopos Centre for Contemporary Art, Nicosia. ‘
